PARADISE VALLEY, NEVADA Paradise Valley is located in north-central Nevada. Peter Skene Ogden and his brigade of mountain men were the first Euro-Americans to pass through Paradise Valley in 1828. Today the town of Paradise Valley typifies many small rural towns across the American West - they have seen better days. While traveling through Nevada during March 2009, I was only able to spend about two-hours photographing this unique town. Two-hours were far too short to photograph a town with so much history and so many stories to tell. I hope to return soon. CLICK ON IMAGE FOR LARGER VIEW COPYRIGHT TERRY NATHAN |
